💧 PFAS Testing Results – Nesika Beach-Ophir Water District 💧

Well #2 – November 13, 2025 Sampling

Nesika Beach-Ophir Water District recently completed required PFAS testing through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).

We are pleased to share:

All PFAS compounds tested were NON-DETECTED
✅ Sample collected from: Well #2
✅ Tested using EPA Method 533
✅ Results issued: February 12, 2026

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) are sometimes referred to as “forever chemicals” and are being monitored nationwide in drinking water systems.

Good News:
Our water sample from Well #2 showed no detectable PFAS at or above laboratory reporting limits.

This means your drinking water continues to meet state and federal monitoring requirements.

If you have questions about PFAS or this monitoring program, please contact the District office.

We remain committed to:
• Proactive testing
• Regulatory compliance
• Protecting public health
• Transparency with our customers

Thank you for trusting NBOWD with your drinking water.
