Lead and Copper Service Line Inventory

Nesika Beach – Ophir Water District

Successfully Completed

September 24, 2024

The Nesika Beach-Ophir Water District has successfully completed a Lead and Copper Service Line Inventory, in compliance with EPA and OHA-Drinking Water Services regulations. We are delighted to announce that our system is free of lead service lines. This conclusion was reached through a thorough examination of as-built prints, physical inspection of service lines, and confirmation that certain water systems were installed after January 1, 1986, when lead was no longer allowed in water lines. Please be aware that this inventory only covers service lines from the main water line to the water meter. If your property was constructed before January 1, 1986, you may still have lead pipes present, and we suggest consulting a plumber to determine the type of pipes in your house or property.
